Backstage at Uonuma

Here's a peak behind the scenes in Uonuma City's Koidego Culture Hall.

In the dressing room before the concert, we share bento boxes for dinner.

At many halls, we get to sign the walls backstage.  It's a fun way to see who's been there before, and to make our mark.

This hall had a whole taiko drum set.  I mean a WHOLE lot of drums - all sizes - plus equipment, stands, beaters, etc.  Jason got to play one - backstage only as sound effects - during the Sonos staged set-up routine we call "Rhapsody in View."  He was so happy!

Here's a view of the hall from the stage.  Every seat had a fantastic view.

Unfortunately, no photography is allowed in the Japanese halls during performances.  We're going to have to find a way to get pictures of us in another way.
